Danann is one of today’s rare commodities – a talented, experienced, attractive, cool, funny male presenter! He is very entertaining on screen and certainly has a credible image, which appeals to both male and female viewers. Danann used to host the early morning breakfast show on XFM.  He was the loveable Irish traveller on Hollyoaks and co-presented the T4 show with June Sarpong, Pepsi Max Downloaded.

Danann can now be seen presenting Today on 3 Live, which is a brand new entertainment show for 3 Mobile.  He also presents Scope for RTE, an entertainment/science show as well as hosting the massive World Festival of Music. Prior to this he co-presented Fame Academy and Celebrity Fame Academy on BBC 3. Danann presented Pop Will Shoot Itself a funky show for Play UK taking a look behind the scenes of making of pop videos. He has also hosted the popular afternoon show Select for MTV UK + Ireland.

Although this was Danann’s first television experience in London he is in fact a well known personality in Ireland having presented several shows for RTE Network 2.  He hosted a weekly 50 minute live teen pop show called Fish for RTE which he also researched for - sourcing bands, interviewing musicians and chatting about general pop culture. ‘Fish’ is one of Ireland’s most popular youth shows and certainly catapulted Danann into the limelight over there.  One of Danann’s other successful Irish show was Sticky, an art show for kids.  He hosted Telethon 2000 for RTE helping to raise over half a million pounds for People in Need.

Apart from his on screen skills Danann as a great deal of production experience. He has researched and presented his own rock/pop video show in America called Wired, in addition to researching and presenting an internet show called MuseTV for Eircom. He also researched for Echo on RTE in 1998 which he went on to front as presenter in the next series. The show was a daily magazine style programme with both live and pre-recorded studio items in front of a studio audience akin to SMTV.

Not only a presenter and actor Danann has produced, edited and directed many short films for which he has won numerous awards from festivals worldwide including Best Film at the Big Issue Film Festival 2004 in London, Best Film at the Moonreel Film Festival 2005 in Ireland, the GAIA Award for Short Film at the Moondance Film Festival 2005, USA.  Prior to this he gained a diploma in Video Production from Galway Film Centre and a BA (hons) degree in Irish Folklore and English from University College Dublin.

Danann is a clever, attractive and incredibly skilled young man who is destined for great things.
