The Search is a brand new Channel 4 show taking 10 lucky contestants on an amazing treasure hunt to some of the most iconic and spectacular historical locations on the planet.

We’re looking for people who can unravel mysteries, decipher codes and keep up with the grueling pace of this spectacular new show. We want people from all backgrounds with the skills to help them overcome the challenge. You may be an academic with a double first from Oxford or a cabbie with a degree from the university of life, it doesn’t matter as long as you’ve got what it takes.

If selected you will get the chance to travel to some of the most exotic places on earth and if you can keep your wits about you the treasure could be yours.

You must be over 18 and filming will take place between September and November 2006. Candidates must be prepared to take time off work – but it’s definitely worth it as somewhere out there is £70,000 worth of hidden treasure just waiting to be found.
